I picked up some local beer at the school Xmas fete yesterday.

First up is Sostice:

It’s very dark for bitter, practically zero carbonation. The bottle lists 5 hops then says it tastes of fruitcake and chocolate which is a bit of a contradiction? Ultimately it does taste like fruitcake which is unusual.

Yes it’s odd heh? The bottle lists Challenger twice as in separate additions yet there is no perception of hop or bitterness. The final result is a taste much better than any artificial fruitcake flavour- it would be worth celebrating.

Tried Pedigree for a change, but was utter vinegar. Think that's the first pint I've ever sent back.
