King cobra 7.5% rather impressed a little sweet but £4.50 at tesco for 750ml bottle I'd drink this again and I'm not really a lager drinker at all. Went down well with my homemade pizza. View attachment 14216

ooh it's back, :thumb:it's not really a lager more like a belgian the last time I had one and brewed in belgium by one of the highly rated belgian breweries. I bit like a 'lighter 'version of delerium tremens.

but I'm off to brussels, cologne & ypres for a few days so will be stocking up on the original...

I’ll be an hour behind everyone else thanks to having a meeting in Edinburgh but I’ll be tapping a minikeg of Kolsch to watch the England game with.

4 mile walk with the better half then a pint of Sharps Atlantic in a boozer. Are *all* Sharps beers boring?

Home, tea, then a couple of home brew dark milds (GW hop back mild clone, 3%, steady boy!!) , now a pint of Kitsters Last stand, my last ever mini mash modified kit that I did, which after several months, is actually quite nice. It's an old ale type of thing.

Went to the local Beer Festival this evening. Out of the ten beers I tried (all halves, honest Ossifer), three had DMS, one diacetyl and only one, Bad Kitty by Animal, did I really like and thought compared favourably to my home brews.

After my near exploding keg of English PA I found another and put it in the kitchen fridge to be sure - see easy keg thread.

well 4 or 5 pints later it is doing the trick

Going through a range of beery delights tonight. Guinness golden ale, Leffe Blonde, BrewDog punk and clockwork tangerine, Erdinger. Eagerly awaiting my first home brew to be ready
