Used to enjoy Cocker Hoop & Sneck Lifter but the last pint I had of their bitter, which I think to be fair was a bottle, wasn’t good.

I remember Jennings circa 1984 in the Halfmoon in Tyldesley near Wigan was a cracking pint, helped by the landlord who was a proper beer drinker

We used to stay in Kirkby Lonsdale quite often back in the day, usually in The Orange Tree. The Red Dragon had in on every time we were there. Dangerous beer for a lunchtime
