Nelson Sauvin pale ale. Good clear taste and aroma, it will not become my favourite but I'm chuffed with it :)

Must add...dark and mysterious picture as I'm cooking outside to avoid turning the house into a aromatic version of an Indian takeaway....I don't mind it but the Mrs.....

This bank holiday weekend I have been tucking into my King Keg of Ron Pattinson's historic Lovibond XB. It's jolly bitter, but your pallet adjusts and its actually quite nice for what is essentially a mentally hopped EKG SMASH.

Things are getting desperado in majorca we go home tomorrow and almost out of euros sent the wife to the bar at the crazy golf she came back with this lol

Spotted these (I normally won’t buy a BD beer out of principle) and thought I outta give them a try.

On drinking I think these are a sour version of clockwork tangerine. Which from a business perspective it’s makes perfect sense, from a craft point if view it’s a bit cheat’y to bill it as some “all new and amazing”

Not bad but maybe a touch too sour for me.

After a very busy allotment day... various bottles from my shed plus thrashing up a lamb Madras which I must say is very good! Getting the hang of the curry thing...after 30 years of trying.. View attachment 15194
I have been learning the art myself recently. Unfortunately i managed to burn mine today whilst brewing. I learned from youtube.

Lemon drop saison wow, first week after bottling wasn't sure but a few weeks later it's great. Fruity citrus and belgian funk.

I love it, got to have these drinks a bit warmer , 10ºc to room temp I would say

Gueuze Girardin 1882 Black Label while brewing my bock / wee heavy. Finally got back into the gueuze after almost getting scared off sours by Hassens last year. Lindeman's Cuvee Rene was very nice last night and the Girardin was much softer but a bit funkier. Nice funk, dry and earthy, not blue cheese and horse like the Hassens, wonder if it was a bad bottle?

My mate just came back from a weekend in Bruges. We had these tonight and he brought me a selection of others
