Tonight I will be drinking rebellion brewery's IPA carefully recanted from the 9 gallon barrel at last weekend's wedding.
Put into a king keg with Co2 it's been good all week, there was no way I was leaving what turned out to be 4 gallons at the venue, especially as they wanted me to leave it so they could return the empty keg.

Early taste of my Belgium Blonde - Alas I couldn’t find a goblet today !

Blown away by this. By far the most taste intensive brew to date in terms of depth.

Banana notes powering through, then clove lingering on the tongue

I’m not too worried about the head dying after a few mins as it’s still in nappies.

High hopes !

These two (the IPA is great, and the red is nice, I guess I need to learn to appreciate it), and maybe a few whateverelsethereisinthefridge.

Drinking a "Free Hop IPA" tonight. It uses for bittering a hop called Flyer and for flavour / aroma Huell Melon and Hallertau Blanc. Grains are just base malt and whatever grain bags could do with emptying.

Flyer, Huell Melon and Hallertau Blanc were part of a "hop pack" give-away from the Worcester Hop Shop at the beginning of the year. As luck would have it the HM and HB go very well together and were cheap when I wanted to repeat the brew.

Not sure that the bittering hops make much difference myself.

All that aside, this is a very good pale ale indeed. It really does have the taste of melon.

Drinking a few pints of my simply grapefruit hoppy pale. This keg was fined with gelatin so it's very clear.

How does the rabbit play into this? Helped you drink the beer? Purchased the beer for you? I see a device near him/her that could readily be filled with the Lagunitas.

Ha oh hell no, I downloaded that one too from google-photos for instagram purposes! :laugh8: Accidentally uploaded it here! Oh well, everybody know bunnies are perfect drinking partners: not judging, not having to share, not nagging, you name it!

Gizmo rules! :gulp:

Took one sip of Luponic Plague 2.0, a NEIPA apparently. Bloody disgusting is what it is. The most bitter (and not juicy) thing I've ever drank.

Not as pale as it looks in the photo. But not nice.

You have been warned.

Hobgoblin IPA. Very nice I have to say, just a shame I only bought 1 bottle

A well earned bottle of my first AG brew. Two malt and single hop - Fuggles. Better for some conditioning and carbing up.

Just what is required after 11 hours traveling, towing our caravan back from France to the North West.

Chippy tea tonight and a couple of decent pints I think! ;-)
