That's a proper cheese toastie

Great brewery tour there, doable by bike too if you chose the right place to stay.Another lovely Belgian Blonde tonight, this one is a lot like my Westy Blond clone attempt which I see as a good sign.
Does real cheese exist in your neck of the woods? (I know it does btw)Belgian Quad HB while making grilled cheese
Just had a pint of Broadside in the Mitre, Hatton Garden, London. Very fruity. Probably been on cask a day or so longer than its best. Still good though. I reckon Adnams secret is their dual strain yeast. That's really interesting, cheers Foxbat!
Looks like I was totally wrong about the hops, I'll have to try a First Gold SMASH.
Taking a good mouthful or two seems not to have impaired your eloquence.I just had a Hobgoblin Gold. It is one of the most vile beers I've ever had. It's like carbonated golden syrup. It is an awful, lingering, pestilent, sickly mawkish bottled horror. It's like my mouth was ***** by toffee apples but the apples shied away because they didn't want to provide some acidic balance. It's absolutely diabolically awful. I've just been through a few of my homebrews that I thought weren't that great but they're like leviathans compared to this diabetic filth.
I didn't like it.
Where are you buying your beer from. Beer hawkThis rather fantastic 2 year barrel aged pale. Beautiful complex lambic flavours with an interesting hop bitterness which reminds me slightly of Cantillon Iris, which is high praise indeed.
I recently got a load from Beerwulf, you get free delivery (even to NI) if you buy 16 beers :thumba:Where are you buying your beer from. Beer hawk
Nice bottle but the plum porter is not to my taste. It was pretty much the only time I've not been able to finish a beer and poured half of it down the sinkJust love the St.Peters bottlesView attachment 21592
