Late to the party today :
Started with my new Bitter, which has finally cleared! Tasty too.

Followed closely by the almost dropped clear Camden Amber II.
It was churned up, having combined two almost empty casks last week.

2nd glass of this seems a little bit clearer, perhaps the cask tap needed to clear its throat?

Tasty enough but nothing like the Camden original now.
All fresh hoppyness gone West, well it was brewed on 9th Feb.
I suppose I should be pleased it's still a decent tasty pale bitter to be honest.

Actually it's a Czech remote. Online company that supply replacement remotes. I have this 15-20 year Cambridge Audio soundbar which still sounds good but the remote was shot.. Czechs to the rescue

Indeed it was . I had a hazy across the road at another brewery, Freshwater brewery, and was a disappointment . Lacking in body and flavour. But the 7th Day was spot on.

Strangely I was thinking this morning about making a beer with a small amount of dark/black malt in the hope it would be red.

Nope. It wasn’t worthington’s it was boddington’s I didn’t like. Yellow can.

The issue I had was that it needed watering down after the OG was way too high. Diluted the hops and colour.

My Rye-ish Red Ale is settling nicely. I do like the slightly spicy bite the rye brings to the beer.
