A lovely visit to Bakewell today. What a lovely little town. Bakeries and breweries, what is not to like.

Picked up a selection of cakes and beers. But first a vault city
Lovely place, we used to go on the bikes, one guy asked for babie's yed and pea wet in a chippy the look on the womens face will last forever :beer1:

I’m having a post-brew day lager of unknown style from @Broken Toe that didn’t land in time for this months comp. It would have scored very well. Great clarity and carbonation, crisp and dry. Nice balance of a light malt flavours and an elegant hops. I’m going to guess Czech or German Pils

(🤞 don’t look like a ***, don’t look like a ***)

Nail on the head. Czech was the target. Thanks!!

I love Bakewell, all of that area in fact - and all the shops that sell Bakewell pudding offer “the original”, “the genuine”, “the best”, … 😂

Thanks H! I got distracted by stuff that I should just chuck in the "crap box".
For future distractions I now put my "Worzel Gummidge couldn't give a flying @#£!,head on". Which does work. It also comes with selective hearing and a language decoder which turns a lot of people's sounds into..blah,blah,blah. It also has a vision enhancer which puts the word "d1ck" on their forehead.
Most amusing!
