I’ve seen a few Belgian beers on this thread recently and you’ll know I’m easily influenced so I’m going to have a couple myself starting with this Rochefort. Beautiful.

This is my first time tasting this. I have made a clone recipe a few times with brambling cross hops. This is hopped with centennial, this is different. Real strong flavour of the hops, bordering on black IPA territory. Nice mouth feel, hops dominate with some roast. Interesting beer

Went after dark gravel riding in the forest. Great fun. 3 pints on the way home. The hop father by wye Valley was cracking
My after dark riding used to be commuting. I used to do night running in a local forest though. It was great when there was a full moon and I could turn my head torch off.

My second attempt at an APA (mostly Chevalier, a bit of Caragold, Summit to bitter and Lorien, my current favourite hops, as a late addition) and it's leagues ahead of the first one.

The Kveik Hornindal has given it a delicate fruity aroma that pairs up incredibly well with the super floral Lorien hops and the Chevalier works so well to give it a lasting malty backbone.

I'm a little bit in love with this beer!

'Evening all,
Thank goodness it's Friday!
My Exmoor bitter.
The golden richness of the whirlpool addition Prima Donna is coming through the Challenger bitterness.
Thank goodness, as it was my first year's harvest of the Prima Donna, and I would have been gutted if they had simply been overwhelmed.
Note to self - must reduce the amount of bittering hops and boil length (amount was intentional, length was a mistake).
