I’ve seen a few Belgian beers on this thread recently and you’ll know I’m easily influenced so I’m going to have a couple myself starting with this Rochefort. Beautiful.
Schwarzbier next and a test of my bar heater before winter closes in. It all works fine and the bar is now in winter configuration so is fully protected against the weather. That’s me happy.

My after dark riding used to be commuting. I used to do night running in a local forest though. It was great when there was a full moon and I could turn my head torch off.Went after dark gravel riding in the forest. Great fun. 3 pints on the way home. The hop father by wye Valley was cracking
It’s my happy place. I love having a few friends round for beers and I don’t want that to stop through the bad weather. I also want to be at the bar outdoors (sort of!) rather than indoors. That looks really good.
The best Bass I ever had was when we used to go to the Combermere Arms, not had it in Burton but they served a cracking pint.Bass is not what it was
