I’m still on the beers bought by my wife earlier. I had a golden ale and now a Franziskaner Weissbier, one of my favourite commercial Weissbiers.

Imperial stout next another garage find. Just checked back I think this was brewed back in February 22. This is lovely, great mouth feel. Coffee, chocolate and vanilla

I’m starting with the last of the beers my wife bought for me yesterday. This Patronus (from LIDL) is nice, it’s very clean tasting and although not quite as characterful as Franziskaner it has more character than Erdinger.

A Welsh pale for me says it’s brewed with Goldings, Columbus, Admiral, US Cascade & Amarillo it’s not bad but they’ve used them sparingly. Whereas the cider for SWMBO is really nice.

Schwarzbier next and a test of my bar heater before winter closes in. It all works fine and the bar is now in winter configuration so is fully protected against the weather. That’s me happy.
