First drink since Sunday. Trying to ve good midweek and shift a couple of extra summer kgs.
I'm also on the Lidl Festbier case. Not huge expectations on quality buy some decent names in there. This is a good solid start.

Had a couple of tasters of Vault City crackers this afternoon - brilliant the both of them
And I haven't had this behemoth for 34 years and I obviously didn't appreciate this properly as it's a great example of a Scotch ale, wonderful beer

Wouldn't touch the first two. I'm funny, I love cider, but I just know I'm not going to like those beers. The Skull Splitter, on the other hand has caught my attention and I'm going to seek it out.

Was saving the Lidl box for next week when Oktoberfest begins and my other Festbiers turn up, but low on beer so having the Schneider Weisse Festweisse.
