It’s a saison and suitably carbonated. The pour was gentle , graceful and beautiful just like the pourer.

Winter is here! 3C this morning and raining, made some comfort food, Scotch eggs, Anzac Biscuits and for dinner liver and onions with cabbage and peas.
To drink Coopers Sparkling clone and a long neck of Foreign Extra Stout.

NEIPA keg kicked so I've replaced it with a few litres of Witbier I had in another fridge. The colour looks better outside though.

This was last night’s drink. Came up as a Lidl special this week. I enjoyed it as a session pale, interested to know what the hops are if anyone else tries it. Described as citrus but to me quite dank.

Today we're sharing a West Coast IPA from @Leon103

Appearance wise it is a dark but vibrant golden orange colour with some haze. The carbonation looks perfect on it, with a head that stuck around for quite a while. Once the head left, a quick swirl brought it back again.

On the nose we get orange which faded to a touch of caramel.

The biggest flavour I get is pithy grapefruit with decent lingering bitterness, but it's not harsh. The malt balances the bitterness nicely.

Mouthfeel is medium, but I think the creamy head gives the illusion of a little extra body.

More my husband's type of beer than mine, but a good representation of a West Coast IPA. The sending of two bottles so we could share was much appreciated. Many thanks for sending Leon.

Just Kegged Citra, Cascade and Columbus pale..sample from the fermenter was nice
Built a conditioning/lagering chamber so it's in there for a week or 2 @ 1.5c until a space in the kegerator comes free.

Treated myself to another Plato Keg and it turns out there was only 4 Ltrs of Kolsch left so I’ve just finished brewing a NEIPA. Kolsch to finish with.

Nothing from me last night because we were celebrating our 25th Anniversary with around 90 friends and family at a hotel. Home again now and starting with a Pipster Pale because it’s chilled and the sun is really hot
