This is my latest NEIPA - a bit on the darker side of the style as I added some experimental malts. It's not bad at all, and because I added a load of hops it's been fresh for quite a while.

Good pale ale bought direct from the brewery, with their plum porter kit which I'm really looking forward to making.
Interesting bottles for homebrew, despite being green they're quite dark rather than Grolsch bottle green so probably ok. No signs of skunking.

That made me very happy. I’m having another of those and I think I might need to get another batch on in the next few days, this isn’t going to last.

No, not Ghost Ship. I had a pint of Maverick, a new beer from Shepherd Neame, and really enjoyed it so I brewed something that I thought might be similar.Perhaps the name “pirate” is a bit strong but I didn’t have the energy to think of a better name
.

You could have been even tireder and call it Top Gun!
I was going to call it Pete Mitchell but thought that might be too subtle?
