I love Liverpool Tess it's the greatest city in the world and only 22 miles away from me 😍

We've stayed in the city centre before and visited the cavern and places like that. There was an Irish bar we went in that was fab but we can't remember what it was called. It was almost like a Wetherspoon.

Rye ale a while ago. The rye ale tastes pretty much as I remember but I suspect the hops have faded a little.

Porter now. The porter is still coffee and a bit of chocolate. I’d have to check my records but I’m pretty sure I added a little more chocolate malt to this batch. I think I might have to add a little more yet because the coffee is quite dominant.

The bitter was good so had another.

Now back home and having my first go at the West coast that I kegged on friday.
Can do with a bit more conditioning. It's amazing how a beer changes over a couple of days. Friday it was super bitter, yesterday the bitterness faded loads. Today its all about the aroma with a after taste of bitter orange peel.
