Phoenix ipa from Buxton next. It’s another hazy ipa and tastes like another hazy ipa. I forgot how “samey” most of these beers are. It’s nice but it’s nothing special. Jaipur has it beaten hands down

Inspired by @Leon103, I saw this in the shop which I haven’t had before. I love it, it’s so yummy! It’s super sour at first but then it changes to sweet maple at the end. So good!

Glad it's not just me who finds that. Not that they are unpleasant or anything, but just a bit 'meh'.

Yep 100% I used to love them but now as you say “meh” hops but little character

A classic…although more malty than I remember.

Sacking the mouthfeel hops and heading into the bitterness hops. A Chevallier ipa. Single malt and single hop and lots of them earthy bitterness from the first gold hops that smacks you in the face. Mellowed since bottling (all 4 of them) havnt tried the keg yet but these have promise.

Have you tried the DDH Jaipur, normal Jaipur is good but DDH is great.

It is. It’s a nice clean well made beer. If I remember correctly they are very traditional - won’t even use pelletised hops!

First of my father's day beers. Busy father's day meant i couldn't drink any of them on the day. My wife picked this up in Aldi.

Crisp and fresh with a little bitterness, and light citrus hoppy aromas. Would buy this again.
