Now a Ringwood Circadian served in stages to keep cool.

Hurray!
It's Friday beer o'clock.
My Dortmunder (Pilsner) to test how it has matured since bottling on 1st May. A fair bit I would say. It is clear, that's condensation on the
glasses.
Daughter also demanded a little something, and SWMBO'd concurred so it has been shared.
It was made with all Saaz hops, and strangely seems to have a distinct but fleeting aroma of pine resin (SWMBO'd thought more woody).
Daughter thought herbal.
All continue drinking it though, so it can't be totally bad. 🍻

When I kegged my premium bitter earlier this week I collected the dregs (2 pints) from the fermenter into a bottle and force carbed it. I had a pint that night and now the other tonight.

Out of interest, how long did you leave this fermenting before you kegged? Curious about how conditioned it is, as I’m always impatient myself.

I normally give all my beers 12 days in the fermenter. My Best Bitter comes out of the fermenter ready to drink (once carbonated) but it improves over the next couple of weeks.

This one was also fermented for 12 days and came out of the fermenter clear (these two pints were a bit hazy because I picked up a little yeast). I haven’t made this particular brew before so not sure about conditioning but it’s easy drinking now and I assume it’s going to improve further over the next two weeks.

Awesome, I may go in earlier next time I brew pale ale then 😀
