Still can't believe this pulzener keg hasn't kicked yet, slightly hazy this one so can't be long.

Anybody at the bar late tonight watching the Superbowl?
I record any NFL games I watch, no different with this one. Forwarding through the commercials and halftime makes the game much more enjoyable.
Because I recorded, I finished watching about 11:30 pm here which was late.
It was an exciting game here and there.

My hubby and son support Liverpool too. Can't think why - especially cos my hubby was born in Manchester 😂
Hi Lisa, i live 12 miles from Manc and 22 miles from Liverpool, in terms of vibrance humour music Liverpool just wins hands down it is such a great place despite all the jokes you hear and it has the best football team in the world, i think i would like a pint or 3 with your hubby and son they have taste cheers: ynwa

Liverpool is the better of the 2 for humour and music due to the large Irish influence rod 😜

That’d be awesome Rod. I’ve done that song in auditions before too (the musical version from carousel).

Sorry, tonight is the ordinary bitter, again. Reading the post about brown malt, I think we should consider ourselves lucky as home brewers to have the best malt for our convenience. It is nigh impossible to replicate a beer of bygone days, biggest call is what do we compare it to? I use dextrin malt in all of my brews, and I am sure the brewers of a bygone age would have used it too, had it been available. Good head, and retention, best advice is to use a little in your recipes and compare the difference.

Didn't watch it, but saw a GIF last night of two owls throwing a ball to each other and nearly wet myself. It said superb owl lol

Don't know if you watch What We Do in the Shadows - comedy about vampires living in the modern day (and can be either very funny or very silly). In one episode their neighbours invited them to a Superbowl party and they kept asking when the magnificent birds were going to make an appearance :laugh8:
