Next up. A passion fruit weizen. Not bad, fruity and refreshing but should've chilled it more. At 4% it would be a good day beer. But it isn't anymore here!

It’s been about 3 weeks since I last tasted my Summer Breeze American Pale. I think it’s about ready because it’s tasty and very easy drinking.

Another go at my Tropical stout, this has improved since 2 weeks ago, very easy drinking. Still quite roasty but not overly so now.

Crossmyloof Hebridean Wild Cat (grain kit)
Slight sweetness lots of flavour from the malt fairly low on bitterness, a good example I feel of a beer whose flavour is malt driven rather than hop driven (if that makes sense).

Very nice on first tasting.

I buy a few bottles each year. One to drink straight away, one to drink in 6-12 months' time, one for the father in law, and one to save for my daughter's 18th.

I hope the latter will either be a something we can share when she's 18, or (looking at some of the prices) she can sell.

She's coming up for 2 with a December birthday, so 3 bottles in, but something I want to continue.

I've put a photo of us and note from each year so far inside the box so even if she doesn't like the beer I hope it's something she cherishes.

Another Summer Breeze for me, another Bourbon Imperial for my wife.

This is Butterfly Effect 2 my 8.2% DIPA version of Butterfly Effect. I’m not sure how I feel about it, it’s nice but I thought it might be more hoppy than it is.

Quite a nice refreshing hazy IPA pint. This particular beer features Sabro Hops that exhibit cantaloupe, mango, and coconut notes. 5.0% ABV

Second taste of my Centennial Brown Ale. So pleased with this. Lovely dark amber colour, brilliantly clear, smells great, doesn't taste bad either! So sorry I only made a small batch, though.

So much so, that it made me check my notes: brewed on the 12/10, so I'm drinking it now a month and 4 days later. That means, get my skates on, and I can brew another batch for Xmas!

The latest from your man in Thailand. A new one on me, Chang lager is an old favourite but with coffee? In a lager? Crazy Thai, but it does work quite well. Maybe it's because we've done 75miles on the moped in the rain to the most northern point in Thailand and I'm gasping!

Not had chance to brew fir ages and these two are taking a while to come good, been in the keg 6 weeks now, a Jaipur clone 6.3% and a chocolate stout 5.5%
