I don't recall there being one there. There was one where the owners moved to the Victoria Inn bit it's best avoided unless you like dogs up on the bar trying to slurp your pint. Ty cwrw is next to the Carlton hotel but only opens from 4 on weekdays that's not bad.

Think it was that one as my dad mentioned that they had moved to a local pub.

Found a crate of imperial stout that I brewed using a saison yeast. Had a bit of work to get a nice glass full. The saison yeast did not stop chewing so it's over carbonated.
Waiting on this to warm up now to try

Last minute Beer check on the local competition. I am entering the bitter, imperial stout and Italian Pilsner. Did a taste check to make sure they are in the right category.

Here is the bitter, I am a little irritated this one carbed up a tad too much. It tastes more like an American amber at this point. Hopefully the bottle will lose some carbonation.

The Italian Pilsner, yum. Nice and refreshing.

Beer no. 2 is my 'Auld' Mongrel Ale.
I've said it before, but how can this be still a decent beer when it's such a random blend and some of them are 14 months old?
Beer #1 (no photo as it was a desperate try-out) was a cask Pilsner. Still tastes right, just it really needs that carbonation. .

Made Abi Blonde again. My abbey style blonde ale. A bit clear, a bit more flavour and a lot more alcohol (not intentionally ) but bloody lovely.

Checking out this English IPA I kegged on Tuesday earlier.
Bittered with Challenger, late addition of EKG, hopstand and dry hop
with Worcester Goldings.
Earthy honey sweetness from Goldings with tropical fruitiness form the
Verdant IPA yeast - nectarine was first thing to come to mind.
