Water in hospital again is as far as I can stretch tonight but my son is down from Cumbria and although not a brewer bottled an AG English Bitter for me so here are some bottles in a bedroom for a couple of weeks. Part of his reward was my very last bottle of AG Citra and I might even get him into the fraternity (if one is allowed to say that these days).

What do you think of that yeast ? I used it in a Belgian blonde and found it had lots of clove and banana esters. Not as clean as I would have liked though
I did a variation of Graham Wheeler's Duval recipe, but with honey instead of the sugar, the fermented half of it with Mangrove Jack's Triple yeast, and half with CML Belgian.

Initially, the MJ one was clearly better and tasted pukka; the CML one was too spicy.

But as they matured, the MJ one became less exciting, while the CML one became a lovely Belgian blonde.

So, perhaps it's a yeast they needs time? This mild had been in the keg for 101 days and is nice and spicy in the aftertaste but bit up front.
