how do you compare America sports with a sport that had players like - Sobers, Richard’s, Lloyd, Botham, Gower, Root, Lillee, Anderson, Bradman, Tendulka, Holding, Marshall, Warne, Imran Khan and 200 more.

I don't but i prefer the sport where we had players like -

I think it's hard to get into unless you watch it with someone who has an understanding of the game, the strategies at play, and how the positions and players interact. There is a flow, a rhythm and a tempo to the game, but it is harder to pick up on than some. I would say it's like cricket in that way. Cricket has it's overs, innings, bowling styles, fielding positions and "star players" in a similar fashion that might seem incomprehensible and slow to the untrained eye. It is also a somewhat sociable game to watch where you can be with a group of good friends with good food and good drink, and just have half an eye to the game rather than for the game to be the absolute focus for it's duration.

Overall, I think American Football is a game you can learn to enjoy, but it would be altogether more sensible if American Football fans just took the time to learn to enjoy rugby.
