Wife and I are both having a nitro bourbon imperial. It might just be our latest favourite!

Tonight I start with @pilgrimhudd 's First Gold Bitter. Carbonation just fine. A bit cloudy, but that's the risk you take with postage, I reckon. I'm not good at this, but I'd say a good balance of hop and malt flavours. A very enjoyable pint that I would have been delighted to produce. In all honesty, though, I still can't really detect the marmalade! 😜

The last bottle of weissbier (bar one that I'm keeping for my son's visit in a few weeks). Still tastes nice and smells great. Will make again, cos it's easy. BeerCat's no chill, no boil simple recipe, plus a bit of tangerine peel and coriander.

How's the brewery? Did you enjoy those two? I wasn't blown away by them but maybe I would be in the brewery.
If I’m honest I think focal banger is the better beer to me imho. I left the brewery tour behind and spent 30 mins chatting with the head brewer. Much more enjoyable and interesting in what they do there. The attention to detail I next level.
