I know it’s a school night, but I don’t have to work tomorrow snd Mrs70 officially retired today at the ripe young age of 50. It’s celebration time, cheers to her 25 years as an incredibly dedicated and hard working GP. And shame on the sucessive governments that have run the profession in to the ground.
Golden Ale for me, she’s still on the fizz.

As I quite liked the British Bulldog, I thought I'd have another.
Clearer pouring than the first one, and I remember now what I liked about it a fortnight ago when it was started.
Malty richness with a dark barleytwist flavour, that is one of the darker crystal malts in there.
But not too much.

Have started with a London Pride clone, followed by an 'ordinary bitter' nothing ordinary about them, this one was OG 1,038 I brewed the same one today weighed in at 1,039 OG

Starting with a Weissbier tonight.

Landed in Birmingham and stumbled across a brewdog. Apparently the only one in the city. So small and poor selection. This is a ipa by distorted so poor. No vibe in there. Down thr hatch and out the door

Out of one bar and into the next. Must ditch the suitcase before its too late. In the Cherry Reds, which is opposite what a cracking bar/cafe. Great selection and cheap prices. This is a mosaic pale ale on cask. Called Readers and writers by twisted brewery. A very good cask beer. I may be back here later

Very nice. So many nice food smells sat out here. Will make the short walk to the hotel and get back out. Think I will head to the Sommar brewery tonight for food and drinks
