Kicked off with a Marston's Pedigree but now on to one of these. It's brewed with rye bread destined for the bin. It was bought from a National Trust shop and at those prices I only got one. Shame, as really enjoying it.

The blurb in the shop claimed that 44% of bread baked in the UK is thrown away. Pretty shocking really.

Bought these (2nd posting to follow) on a whim on Thursday driving past from Ashford to Curborough (Nr. Lichfield) for my old car club camping and motorsports weekend. Load of pi**heads there.
I like their Summer Perle in the............. Summer.
Home now, so some left to drink up for me and SWMBO'd.

Popped one of these open. Odd this batch has a almost sulfur diesel taste initially? Bad batch of saphir or HBlanc?

2nd mini keg. Ready to drink and crystal clear.
Thursday evening and Friday this was rich and a little sweet for me. Bags of barleytwist flavour.
But it showed a hint of cloudyness last night, then tonight after a 24°C day poured very lively and will not clear.
I think fermentation has recommenced.
The flavour has blossomed to become like chewing on a handful of medium pale crystal malt.
Which I love to do. So I'm happy for the change.

I thought this particular one was great

Think I'm getting a liking for rye in beer. I was treated to a father's day visit to The Small Beer Brew Co. in Bermondsey and especially enjoyed their Steam at 2.7%, made with rye. They're going to release that in cask later on in the year, they say.

Seeing as I have been celebrating a birthday today, I may as well have a birthday beer. A Tiny Rebel 10th birthday beer.

A wood aged Belgian birthday cake. A imp stout/Belgian strong beer type thing. Initial impressions is that this is nice. A lot going on. Letting it warm up whilst waiting for the boxing to start.

More than a clown,he should have some respect. He was well beat, embarrassing. The judge that gave it to him by 2 rounds should never be allowed near a ring again.
