Popped down to my local for a quick catch up with a mate, just got back in after being dragged round
for drinks with a neighbour - lovely evening.
Had this tasty pale ale from local XT brewery, Tettnang and Hallertau.

I’ve well overheated after the commute back from Dublin and a lamb dhansak from my local curry house. What better way to cool off than a saison, this one brewed by @pilgrimhudd.
It’s got bags of clove and spice yeast character sitting on a bready sweet malt base. The hop character is spicy and earthy with a bit of a floral character, something noble possibly?
Its the perfect pint for right now, cheers , i could chug a load these no bother. At 7% it’s probably for the best that there’s only one of them.

Glad you liked it! Hops were a user upper of first gold, brewers gold and styrian.

My Foreign Extra Stout, with 20% sour beer seems pretty close, bitterness needs to be tweaked upwards, but still very enjoyable and leaving a bitter aftertaste on the roof of the mouth.

Just had some rather delicious fruity punch thing Mrs70 knocked up after cutting a portion of the lawn. She also scooped a load of Vocation Life & Death at £1.10 a tin our local Tesco earlier today. What a star!

What hops are you using in your Pils?

Vocation IPA. Turns out it was only 70p a tin.

Having anither taste of my Golden ale (hops Godiva & Saphir) I used Saphir in my Italian Pils and this is a little more bitter and a bit more flavour from the hops along with some yeast character... liking it

What hops are you using in your Pils?

I am on the Fence as usual but it's looking magnum to bitter, Styrian goldings and hersbucker late on. I am tempted to add Nelson sauvin as a dry hop maybe 50g.
What's your opinion, the grain bill is simple. 5kg of Eraclea malt.
