Tempest Elemental Porter with Lancashire hot pot on a Summer's e'en is one of them.

A glass of my choc and pecan stout. This has aged well, IMO. Started off with the choc overpowering the pecan. It still does, to an extent, but the flavours have come together a bit better now. Was beginning to regret adding the choc but now...

A lunchtime drink of my last English IPA, really coming good now, extremely good hop presence with the Ella bittering hop. Very enjoyable.

Cooking Baked Salmon in garlic, butter, parsley & white wine sauce for dinner while having a stubby of my Sierra Nevada clone, definitely not a thirst quencher. Taste is sweet comparing it to the bitterness of the English IPA.

Sorry rod and @SMP Brewery its not a clone. I meant a bought beer and a home made one. Mine is a Belgian single and it’s similar but it’s no la chouffe

I must do another La Chouffe. It was one of the first AG brews I did and I'm down to two bottles of lovely aged beer.
