@pilgrimhudd American stout. This is a really good beer. Love the way the citrus hops work with the toasty malts. Definitely one for the brew schedule. Care to share the recipe?

I'm missing my notes but I think I used us05, I know I missed my OG and FG finished higher than expected, I was hoping for something just under 5%, and got 4.2%. Glad you like it though!
Last beer for me tonight, I’m falling more in love with Pliny The Melter every time I have one. It’s a hop explosion sitting on big bready malts, a solid caramel sweetness cuts through the 180-odd IBUs and it easily has the best mouthfeel of any of the beers I’ve brewed. There’s no hint anywhere of the 8.1% ABV, so best served in small glasses.
My Wilko spiced winter ale, must be at least 7 months old now the longest I've managed to keep any brew. It's good, a little bit of cinnamon, I doubt it'll last until winter.
An Out of date (Nov '21) vegan beer from Beer52 (my fault ).
Still fresh and attractively hoppy.
And my lactose and gluten intolerant daughter agrees.
And I interrupted her drinking her 'The Ned' NZ Sauv. Blanc. so it must be OK.
Tonight Welsh Archers Bitter, disappointing head and lacing. Looking through the notes was concerned about a boil over added a cap of distilling conditioner to the boil. Convinced this is a compromise to the addition of the latter.
Best bitter nice head and good lacing, no conditioner.
We are having half of each other’s beers. Jim is having my wheat beer which is on the right, and I’m having his low carb IPA, which finished at 1.000. 8.5% though!
Post drive Pils after a drive to Norfolk for a few days. Popped over to Duration brewery for some holiday supplies. Starting with this Deya Pils very nice..crisp and fruity
An Altbier kindly sent by @dave_77. First up, this has to be the prettiest beer I’ve poured for a long time. It’s a deep copper colour with moderate to high carbonation and brilliant clarity so you can all the bubbles filling a long lasting white fluffy head.
The aroma is a balance of rich complex malts and peppery Nobel hops that carries through to the palate. The bitterness is medium to high. Its well attenuated with a clean fermentation. I’ve never had an Altbier before, I’m a big fan of malty beers and I really enjoyed this one. Thanks for sharing it, I’m off to Google Altbier recipes now.
