Last time I had a pint of that I found it very thin and lacking in any real flavour ? But then I never was a fan of smithwikks
Your not wrong, I’ve moved on to something else. Irish Red is a great style, you should try a nice one sometime, like one of mine😂

I’ve moved on to Maggie’s Leap, one of my favourite local beers.

The one I’ve been waiting for and thankfully I’m not disappointed, this one has virtually no fruit! I’d say it’s actually a close run thing between this porter with no fruit and the previous one from Dark Sky having a pleasant balanced fruit addition. Choose depending on your mood/taste.

Swore I would never have 1 of these again after they dropped the abv to 5% ish. But I must not have been alone as it has gone back up to 6.5% and it was £1.50 a can in Tesco. Less bitter than I remember and a very artificial grapefruit flavour and tbh I don’t really like it anymore. But it’s nice if you know what I mean 🤷‍♂️

Have you tried the double rye IPA from Kinnegar yet

The days are getting shorter, the last smells of barbecues in the evening, the scent of roach in the air in the morning. Days are still warm but there is an atmosphere of change in the air.
Last but one long neck of my Golden Bitter, was going to brew another but may wait until spring. Get stuck into the darker beers as the specialities over the coming winter months without foregoing the bitters of course.
The second and final drink of the night a long neck of my IPA (English of course).
