@dave_77 I resisted the urge to add the special B to the American amber. Went Minch malt, Munich, caramunich 2 and dark crystal

I think PJ is much superior on draught... Still not bad in bottles, but ..

Just spent the last two hours bottling up my weizenbock. Think I deserve some refreshment.
Getting to the end of the Session IPA, I’ve got the the hops and yeast in to brew it’s replacement next weekend, a mosaic pale ale with lupomax. Looking forward to giving that one a go.

I free-styled a simcoe ipa with what I had left. Magnum in the kettle and then dried with 150g of Simcoe and the results are most pleasing.

Happy with my first brew on tasting. Malt bill is based on a cream Ale, but it's dry hopped with Motueka and fermented with a Californian Common Yeast. Carbonated like a lager. Crisp ale with a tropical citrus flavour.

First pint bottle of Woodforde's Wherry, the first beer I've brewed in over thirty years. Impatience got the better of me. It's only been in the bottle 3 weeks, but I'm pleased with the clarity and the taste. It's holding its head nice as it's going down. A few more weeks and it will be spot on.
