Because they are a little bit of everything that you like all together in one glass.
That's why have all those tailends to use up - we may get them in for a particular purpose, but together they just make great beer!

Just thinking - Has any commercial brewery ever produced, named and sold in a pub, an ale in the UK (or elsewhere come to that) simply called 'Beer' on the label?
Anyone know?
I don't think a supermarket-only labled brand product counts here. But interesting to know anyway if there has been.

I’m starting with a bitter but not my own tonight. I went to Waitrose for some mushrooms and my basket looked a bit empty soooo…

Soooo....
After that rush of blood to the brain, it got me to thinking....
Beer time! 🕰
So I went and dug out

a bottle of my bitter from the garage:
O. K. So it isn't today's photo as it is cloudy weather today, but it is the same beer from my 10L polypin, bottled off it at its finish.(i.e. when it started 'sucking back' through the tap).
I thought it was worth the try, and it worked surprisingly well.
Tastes just as it did when fresh.
Happy result.

I think it's safe to say what it is now. It was a Belgian pale ale, my first attempt at one. After learning a bit more about the style I am more content with what I have produced

Just finished work so gagging for a beer. Trappist Single it is, wanted to try my new Motueka dry hopped Cream ale but couldn't be bothered to clean the lines to crack the keg.

@dave_77 I resisted the urge to add the special B to the American amber. Went Minch malt, Munich, caramunich 2 and dark crystal
