Finally finished shopping and can start the weekend! Hubby is off work all next week so looking forward to spending some time with him. I’ve found this in the shop which looked interesting! It’s so good! Forgive the girly nature of the drink

It’s cat medicine sweet (as I call it) but it’s so complex I really recommend it. You get cinnamon first off, then comes chocolate and then vanilla at the end. I’ve put it away otherwise I’ll polish off the lot.

It's good to enjoy supporting a local brewery!

Was in Aldi and suddenly found myself feeling like Guinness. Now I know it’s not the greatest stout of all time but it’s not sold as a premium beer. I find the key is to let it warm up a tad, and it makes for a pleasant easy drinking stout (that or I have had one too many of my Saaz Pilsner smash beers and anything tastes good).

Ooh no I don’t put mixers in Gin liqueurs, it spoils the flavours. It says to put coke in it. That sounds disgusting if I’m honest

12 acres the far side hazy ipa. This one is very very nice. Lovely creamy mouthfeel and juicy flavour.

Summer Breeze. With the changes I discussed in my brewday thread I do think I’m getting even more aroma and flavour. I may even need to add back a little bitterness.

Lads, the wait is over. The KBS clone has come good. A certain Derry chum of mine will be getting something nice in the post soon. I'm happy with this ATM and it will only get better over the next few months.

In this version non at all. Loads in the whirlpool, some in the fermenter on day 0, a little in the fermenter on day 7. There was also a little in the mash.

Having these next. Starting with the imperial french lager with orange peel. P
It’s like a Belgian lager and it’s very very nice. I’m not a lager fan at all but this isn’t a traditional lager. It’s 7.5% and does not taste it at all. Very good I’m enjoying this one
