After a few darker beers I fancied something lighter to enjoy some cheese and biscuits.

This is an interesting beer. Really fresh, would be amazing in the summer. There is bay in it but I am not sure I am getting much of that.

First of the evening tonight is the very nice Belgian Blonde. Honey sweet aroma, bready malts with a residual sweetness that balances spicy yeast esters. Its a great one.

This is a good porter. 8 malts, must of been a thick mash.

One more before my last Secret Santa beer. A Christmas special from a mixed Belgian case. Stronger malt presence than the blonde, stone fruit yeast flavours, and dry finish. it hides the 7%ABV well. I could drink a ton of this one, glad it’s only a small bottle
