This golden ale which is a bit disappointing. A nice floral hop flavour but I'd like a bit of maltiness in there too.

I bottled a Festival Porter kit tonight after about 3 weeks on the go. Very impressed with the taste I will definitely be buying this again for an easy brew.

A couple of bottles have found their way into my fridge and I don't feel like putting them back with the others now.

Might need to do a bit of quality control later tonight. Just to be safe like.

Testing out my hoppy pils this one is difficult to describe kind of tropical banana it's smooth too. Really delicious.

I was kind of shooting for a tropical stout, and ended up more on the belgian side I guess.

QC on the GH brown porter bottled a couple of weeks ago.
It's tasty, chocolatey and carbed...not much head retention but it's ok to go!

Nope from the bottle. I just swirl it around for a bit before I drink it and it's fine.
I also used sabro and it's surprisingly coconutty. Especially the aroma.

Might be the combo of the roast and chocolate? Its a more recent development.

Just trying my Belgian dubbel 7%
I went high carbonation and it seems to work. Still very young so will only get better. High carbonation makes it lighter on the palate for a beer your expecting to be heavy and chewy.

Do the flowers still smell of coconut if dried? I might look into this in the spring. I have gorse in the garden that had strong coconut smelling flowers.
