Luckily it's a rare occurrence as my wife dislikes it too. It's one of the reasons I married herWell deserved! I absolutely detest clothes shopping...

Flake sir?
I was kind of shooting for a tropical stout, and ended up more on the belgian side I guess.Flake sir?
I don't get coconut at all both times I used itNope from the bottle. I just swirl it around for a bit before I drink it and it's fine.
I also used sabro and it's surprisingly coconutty. Especially the aroma.
Might be the combo of the roast and chocolate? Its a more recent development.I don't get coconut at all both times I used it
I've often wondered if that would translate to flavour in a beer.Flowers on gorse smell like coconut...
I don't know but I'd like to find out.Do the flowers still smell of coconut if dried? I might look into this in the spring. I have gorse in the garden that had strong coconut smelling flowers.
At least you only have the bottle to get through. I bought a 5l keg of this from Tesco a while ago as it was on special offer. This golden ale which is a bit disappointing. A nice floral hop flavour but I'd like a bit of maltiness in there too.
