it is beer however. it's flat but the 8% gives a certain sparkle.

You can almost certainly still carbonate this batch. What is the beer in at the moment?

i have kind of accepted the flat. at the moment it's in 70cl spirits bottles.

When you get your bottles, and if you want to - sterilise the bottles, dose them with sugar water, fill them with the beer from your spirit bottles, and put them somewhere around 20C for a couple of weeks. You’ll have much nicer beer.

Try not to get air into the beer any more than necessary - no splashing and just gentle pouring down the side of the bottle.

thank you. i had considered this (and it would leave most of the sediment in the current bottles). will have a long think about it when the new 500mls appear (brew2beer said they'd be shipped tomorrow). waiting on some wine freeing up the heatpad so i can get the next 20/21L of IPA on.

Sounds good. If you’re still unsure, just do half a dozen to try and then decide.

Another Summer Breeze, that last one was really good. About three quarters of a pint and then just gas coming out so I’m very nearly done with another keg. Just as well I should be able to get some beer brewing by the weekend!
