Had a couple of pints of Five Points ISH...now watching the Spain game had Altbier and now on to my quince Saison
I’ve just kegged those beers I put off earlier so my conscience is now clear and I can settle down with this Fullers 1845.
My designated driver night.
So started evening with orange juice.
No one wants to see that.
Wonderful classical Greek Cypriot meal, so of course a local rose (orangey hue) very fruity but I wouldn't bother bringing any home.
For anyone interested,
Further unusual birds seen today after the Eleanora's falcon:
Hoopoe, (amazing plumage Miss) ,
Bee eater.

Very nice pilsner to start the weekend, not had it before but would definitely buy again.. slightly different hop character.

Was expecting an imperial ipa but got a hazy style. Not a bad drink and very thin for 7.4% very surprising beer this
Just got back from a day trip to Somerset, 4 Hrs drive there and 5 Hrs drive back. I need to rehydrate…

Verdant Bissoe, English IPA with Harlequin and UK Cascade. Bitter and fruity.
Roadworks along much of the journey (no one actually doing any work of course just miles of cones and average speed cameras). On the way back a Jack-knifed truck being recovered on the M25 at Gatwick (in Friday rush-hour traffic
), took over an hour to move about 8 miles.I definitely needed that beer!
