Only anti water bottle thing I would say is I hate all the dents on the side I feel they catch sediment [emoji58] which annoys me

9mm hole saves cost of Bung aswell can buy 5 water bottles for the cost of a glass Demi atm on tesco

My LHBS sells air locks for 75p

Winner winner chicken dinner

If you are not bothered about seeing bubbles save 75 pence by just loosening the top slightly, CO2 is heavier than air so it protects your wine as its fermenting.

Did you buy some? Will try and find the link if not. It is sweetener cider yeast

So how far along is this batch magpie ?

Just an update on my first one. 48h after adding yeast the airlock is moving every 8 seconds! It really is alive!

Just did my first turbo cider using Aldi apple juice last night. It was that turbo - I forgot to do an SG. I haven't added any sugar, so it shouldn't be strong. Anyway, I like the idea of priming using the polish fruit syrup. We'll see how it goes.

There no horror stories only in this recipe just good cheap booze with a heavy hit of self satisfaction [emoji16]

May I add because we never let it mature every bottle is better than the last. I just had one and have a second in the fridge. So I hope to start putting a few from each batch in the stables. So some get chance to mature.

Build up a stock ! [emoji6] that's what I'm planing

I've abused the free photo copying in work for the bottles I'm giving away lol
