I'd consider supplementing the camp false bottom with a strainer a la 900mm x 15mm flexible tap connector with the rubber hose cut out. See how works without first I suppose.

Nice one TS, coming along nicely!

I'm about 6 weeks behind you as we are still waiting for the survey to come back but hopefully with no chain at either end it wont be too long now. I'm planning on building a new brew shed and was wondering how you put the base down? Is it hardcore, sand cement mix and slabs?

Cheers

LB

You could also dig holes drop wooden posts in and concrete round em, (bit like Piles) then fix 3"x3"'s across as a base, then put said shed on it, That way if you ever want to move the shed its easier to put it back to Garden, as you will only need to take the posts out, not 3 ton of hardcore.

More bits arriving daily :D
I now have an alarm for the shed and a pump arrived today too

I have the Q max for the the hole in the mash tun, I will pop to the tool station tomorrow and pick up some cobalt drills, then I need a bench to site it on at a reasonable cost, any ideas chaps?
Vossy has my order for some of his super sexy silicon hose and I have all the ingredients for a nice hoppy APA, I can hardly wait :drink:

You've beaten AM with internal pics! :thumb:

It's a bit small innit? . . . You could fit it in my workshop 5 times over

The new shed, is going to be a workshop, and I'm moving all the junk from the brewery into it . . .but She has decreed that I can't put anything in it until it has a place to go in  . . . . which means it needs insulating (with Celotex) and then internally cladding with 9mm OSB before I put shelves and hooks up. Then move the junk out of the brewery, before I can start work on roofing and insulating that

Stop bragging Aleman, you have visited my 'shed'.

I know.

Doesn't look like that now though to much machinery now but I do use a small area of it for brewing.

Now now Tony She has told you before that size isn't everything
I have solved the bench problem by buying another cheap ass workbench, now I am considering flameproofing around the gas burner  my options are ceramic tiles @20p each or fireboard? Do any of you chaps have any other ideas?
