I can't so haven't really thought about it. What I was getting at was benefits isn't below the poverty line and they are many extras they get on top of the PIP payments.
I don’t think a civilised society should expect those unable to work to forgo shelter, food or warmth, let alone their children.

Spot on K the problem with this country is everyone who has never experienced the fun of claiming benefit hasn't a clue the hoops you have to jump through to get them and believe me I know from experience, everyone says they know someone that has been fiddling benefits all their lives in reality in most cases it's bs people enjoying the life of Riley on benefits are in a huge minority however much these people would like us to think this is not the case.

All this benefits culture started when a certain Mr Anthony Lynton Blair was elected to power because it suited there agenda and we are now suffering for it, The benefits bill under his watch was massive which is why Ian Duncan Smith decimated it while enjoying £49-00 breakfasts at his favourite eatery, you have to dig deep to understand what is going on in Europe today, a good place to start is Count Richard Kudenhof and his papers of his vision for Europe which were released in the 1800s, there is still a Kudenhof prize given every year to a leader of European Countries Angela Merkel was a recent recipient

While i am here i will say yes i know the hoops you have to jump through and all the paper work, in 2009 my wife was awarded full mobility so she got a car with it 2011 she got another 2014 another then suddenly when Ian Dun can smith was vilifiying disabled people left right and center she had it taken away, so appealed which took an age when it got to court no one from the dwp turned up so the judge told my wife to re apply, my wife basically told them to **** of and walked out, she stuck with the lower rate because she didn't want the hassel of re applying, i buy all the cars now

It's a depressingly old technique used to distract people from what the problem really is. Point the finger at some group or other and pretend that they're the cause of whatever problem you might be experiencing, usually income related. Easy targets who can't fight back. History is littered with examples of this and of course Trump in the US pointing the finger at immigrants is a very current manifestation of it. There's a cartoon that originates from Australia which perfectly encapsulates this.

Absolutely bang on the money.

As above, the irony is that the biggest grifter of the lot, that preys on the whole immigration thing, was the MP that was unveiled as that which was earning the most after the MPs interests were uploaded.

You'll be unsurprised to find out it was Farage himself. He earns £60k a month alone from G Beebies and £4k from the Torygraph.
His interests say that he does the equivalent of 9 days a month doing his outside paid interests.
Now, bear in mind, there are only around 21 working days in a month (and MPs do actually work hard, often late into the night), that's very impressive!

No wonder his constituents in Clacton haven't actually seen him.
