Any recommendations apart from Leo, Singha and Chang?

There aren't many breweries in Thailand due to legal blocks on brewing in the country. There are some "craft" breweries, but they are largely owned by the big breweries.

Mardi Craft was a brewery that was fairly widely available. If you go in some of the specialist beer bars and get talking, then you'll likely be offered some beer brewed by locals. They keep it quiet though.

There is also a local chain in Bangkok called Chitbeer that bypasses the Draconian beer laws.

Where about’s in Thailand are you off to? There used to be a great microbrewery on Koh Samuel, on the main road into Chaweng. It was run by a German chap and had about 4 beers on inc IPAs and stouts.

Full Moon’s Fin Fin IPA from 7-11
Wizard Brewing & Brewing Project from Villa Market or Gourmet Foods (Plan to go to supermarkets during alcohol sale hours)

Chit beer island is an experience but is a whole day, only a Saturday and requires ferry there and water taxi back (because ferry ends early).

I visited Chitbeer on Koh Kret a couple of years ago, on purpose too. Fantastic night but eye wateringly expensive (in comparison to other bars). The now have a bar on the "mainland" side of the river in Bangkok , plus another in Chiang Mai.
There were a smattering of craft beer bars throughout the country and not aimed at tourists either.

Big supermarkets had a varying choice of IPAs etc. Even the 7-11 chain seemed to stock different beers in different provinces.
But I think you really can't beat an ice cold Leo at sunset!

Oh and I'm jealous! I should be there now but circumstances involving a very old dog have scuppered plans!

He's opening in Phuket too.

Traveling South from Bangkok to Trang and Krabi .
Thanks
Been to all three, albeit twenty years ago. Back then it was just Chang and Singha. Didn't think much of Singha but the Chang was lovely. 30p a bottle or 50p for a 660ml bottle. Same prices in bars and 7/11s. You couldn't spend money! Breakfast, lunch, dinner and w@nkered for under a tenner! Wonder how much it costs these days.

Food and drink is still dirt cheap. As is accommodation. Fantastic place!

Prices for the mainstream beers vary widely, depending on location.
Chang, Leo etc were as cheap as 90 Baht (£2) in bars for the big 660ml bottle up in the Northern provinces. But double that in the touristy southern Islands.
Food can still be ridiculously cheap, even in tourist places.
One memorable place was a tiny 8 seater restaurant in Koh Phi Phi where the granny and mother were cooking, inside the room, with the daughter waiting tables. Awesome food cooked before your eyes for literally £1 for a main course and 20p for rice.
The only good part about Koh Phi Phi if I recall. But the bar after were doing a 2 for 1 deal on buckets of gin and tonic, so it was all a bit hazy after!

Stopped going to Thailand about 10 years ago. Broke my heart to see Koh Samui I couldn't get over how big Chaweng is now. When I went the first time it only had a few paved streets at the main cross roads. The "Main" drag was a dirt path and the only night club was across the lake. I blame the movie The Beach.

Times have definitely changed. It was 30p and 50p everywhere when I went. Same price in Chiang Mai as it was in Koh Phi Phi. And everywhere in between. £4 for a pint of beer is not that dissimilar to local pubs here. It's been a long time since I went on holiday and thought the price of beer was ridiculously cheap.
