Any recommendations apart from Leo, Singha and Chang?

There aren't many breweries in Thailand due to legal blocks on brewing in the country. There are some "craft" breweries, but they are largely owned by the big breweries.

Mardi Craft was a brewery that was fairly widely available. If you go in some of the specialist beer bars and get talking, then you'll likely be offered some beer brewed by locals. They keep it quiet though.

There is also a local chain in Bangkok called Chitbeer that bypasses the Draconian beer laws.

Where about’s in Thailand are you off to? There used to be a great microbrewery on Koh Samuel, on the main road into Chaweng. It was run by a German chap and had about 4 beers on inc IPAs and stouts.

Full Moon’s Fin Fin IPA from 7-11
Wizard Brewing & Brewing Project from Villa Market or Gourmet Foods (Plan to go to supermarkets during alcohol sale hours)

Chit beer island is an experience but is a whole day, only a Saturday and requires ferry there and water taxi back (because ferry ends early).
