What was the SG with a totle off 1050g of suger
I'am still trying to get my head around grames of suger =SG

You will need around 1.100 OG and 0.990 FG to get 15%, basically its a drop of approx 110 gravity points, so if you like your wine sweeter and usually finish around 1.000 then it would need to have an OG of approx 1.110 for 15%

1% = approx 7.362 gravity points

So for 14 or 15% what would you recommend

I have actually gone the other way and now only use 900g total, Mrs Tea would be asleep in front of the TV after 3 glasses so we decided to make it a little less potent, it means i drink more but the effect is the same eventually.

I use KwiK clear, it usually clears in 48 hours.

Hi, I just bought this for my wows as it should be cheaper than buying individual sachets. However, the box says use within a month of opening! Is this unusable after a month or so because I was hoping it would last a lot longer. I'm only making about 2 - 3 gallons per month.

I know youngs clear it suggests it only lasts a month once opened, can i ask where you see this message on the KK box as i have never noticed it.

Sorry my mistake it is the youngs. You ever used that? Think it will last longer than a month?
