The blackboard is a vinal chalkboard. Didn't quite get it on right as you can see so I'm gonna replace it soon! Other than that its the best thing I've ever bought!
cheer mate. Some very valuable advice there! I've got 2 flow control taps on order and I only drink ales so no problem there. I'll be sure to check my co2 tank the next time I get a replacement. Only problem is that my supplier uses a courier to send out cylinders so I won't know the condition until I've got it here. Maybe they would replace it if I made enough fuss?Fil said:went off on one ment 2 give u 2 kegging tips that might save u time n cash
1) always check the gas bottle mating face when u exchange a refill, soft brass and even tho caged in the neck can get a clout or 2 and get damaged, if gnarled at all it will probably seal ok on your reg but will chew up n kill the wsher so the next bottle u attatch could just drop out overnight,,, yep it happened..
2) flow control taps are great for low-med conditioned beers served upto 8psi (according to my gauges) over that pressure the sweetspot is impossible to hit nd needs a constant fix each pour never hitting it. at lower pressures tho they are great and can be set once and pour.
happy kegging
