I am completely bored of My scone. Two children of school sick. So I am starting a brew, I don't have enough grain but I will throw something together that will resemble a Saison.

So this is basically all I had, and it's guesstimate.
2kg Minch malt
400g wheat
200g Cara Munich 2
150g biscuit malt
500g white sugar added with 15 mins left on the boil

15g magnum @ FWH
15g cascade + 15g talus @15mins
40g talus@flameout

Yeast is Saisonstein monster
OG 1.040

Yeast west Yorkshire ale yeast
Kegged this today. It finished at 1.020, tastes really good. Hopefully I can keep this for the winter month's. I am considering buying more kegs. So I can rotate beers, I was thinking about bottling beer again. The bottle's have been in the garage gathering dust the last 2 or 3 years. So would require a major clean

I haven't brewed in ages so I got a delivery last week of grain. I don't have any dry yeast so I did a mini mash to get some wort for a starter. 1 kg Minch malt in 2 litres of water. My yeast out of the fridge is a bit lively, this is Yorkshire 1469
