Can anyone recommend low IBU beer kits? Mr DizzyDazz has just informed me he doesn't like bitter beer, the problem is not many kits give you the bitterness units.

Coopers canadian blonde ale is very low IBU to the point of blandness. Add some hop tea and/or a dry hop and you'll probably get what he's after

What hops would you use to add flavour rather than bitterness?

Flavouring hops :D

Seriously though it depends on what you want to turn it into. If you want something English you could go classic and use EKG, Fuggles or Challeger . If you wanted to go American, any of the C hops (cascade, citra, chinnook, cluster, cenntennial). If you want something more lager like (it'll be a blonde ale though, not a lager), saaz is what you want

Mr DizzyDazz was rather taken with a pint of Maltsmiths IPA while on his hols and according to Maltsmiths blurb, they use Citra, Chinnock, Columbus, Centennial hops so maybe the American hops are the way to go...
