If I send in a V2 bottle (done yesterday) when are you doing the judging? It'll need min 2 weeks carb time. Plus a few days of a good hard chill.

I planned to do all the testing on the 3rd but the way things are going I will have too many to test in one go. I think rules say to give feedback after two weeks.

I don't mind testing it last or send it and I will test it outside the comp and send you one I made in return.

I failed with that one!

I'm in a similar position to Hoddy in that I bottled my second entry last night but I'm just going to chance it, I've whacked it beside a radiator to speed up carbonation and I'll whack it in the post on Monday and cross my fingers that it is in decent condition come judging day.

Bottle arrived from @peteplus oh I am looking forward to that one. Is it done as per the recipe?

It is yes. I actually did it back in the Summer, not specifically for a comp. When I read about the monthly comps in here I had 2 bottles left!. Wanted to sample the second one to last to see what I thought of it after a few months and make sure it was still alright to enter it. So that's why there's only one bottle as well :)

I will keep it until last.

Mine will be going in the post on Monday so doubt it'll make it if I send it second class. Not sure whether to risk 1st class or play it safe and send 48 hour.

And the award for best wrapped bottle goes too.... @budgie waw took twenty minutes to get into that bad boy and then I nearly knocked it off the worktop. Hate to be your family at xmas

Better safe than sorry! At least if my beer is crap I can still say I won something
