You still pay tax on red diesel but it's a lot less.
I believe you can also use heating oil which is cheap.

You would buy your red diesel from a local boatyard, say Kings lock, and fill the declaration for tax as heating only when you buy it. Boaters have to do it all the time. It’s routine.

I have a GIANT empty propane bottle for you when you return.
It has been a similar temperature to Gran Canaria in the unit this week.
And it's Celcius. :)
