The SSR is basically a switch; 12V input from the PID, 240V output to the voltage regulator (as it is a switch, the 240V side is live in, live out).
The voltage regulator outputs to the socket for the boiler.
I've incorporated an exhaust fan to take the heat away from the heatsink - you can avoid this by mounting the heatsink outside the control box.
