Chastising consumers of certain alcoholic beverages is fine with me, but alienating half of Scotland as having bad taste :hmm: ...I move for a recess to reconsider :lol:

Yes yes perhaps I was a little hasty in my condemnation of the Scots, my sheep had been a little fractious yesterday.
However the drinking habits of the Scots is well documented and I would have expected them to uphold one of their finest exports.
As for being a narrow minded bigot....! er well Yes....I'm the judge, we are expected to be

It also been noticed that our worthy Sheriff has been a little shall we say over zealous these last few days, the Court puts that down to the imminent arrival of the festive season which is well known to be a time when he is not at his best.
I would hope that his obviously abnormal behaviour recently, does not de-track us from admiring him as a warm and caring person, especially until I get my bottle of the renowned Elderberry Stout !

Court dismissed and charges dropped. The spelling of whisky with an " e " is not punishable by having your innards curdled and your chatterlings scattered to the four winds, otherwise we would be hear all day dealing with any Londoners present.....oops

Please don't take any of this silly season ramblings as anything but silly season ramblings.
