Boiling times?

OK, so first brew will be under way tommorrow, but i have a silly newbie question. When you talk about a 90min boil is it from the kettle on or from roiling boil? hops go in from roiling boil also?

90 mins from the point the wort comes to the boil :thumb:

And hops go in once the initial foam has disappeared into the boil . . . I time from that point as well
